After 22 years of proudly serving the Dundee community, Water Street Pharmacy will be transitioning its services to Village Drug, with the final day at our Dundee location on: Friday, May 1, 2026 While this marks the closing of our Water Street location, it also represents a positive step forward—allowing us to continue serving you with even greater support, resources, and convenience at Village Drug in Penn Yan.
Where Will My Prescriptions Go?
All prescription records from Water Street Pharmacy will be securely transferred to: Village Drug 126 Main Street Penn Yan, NY 14527 (315) 536-0100 Village Drug is owned and operated by Tracey Knapp, RPh, and will continue to provide the same personalized care and attention you’ve come to expect—now from one centralized location. No action is required if you would like to continue your current services (including if you were a delivery customer) with us at Village Drug. We are here and ready to serve you.

Transferring your prescription is simple, and you are always in control of where your prescriptions are filled.
Option 1: Contact Your New Pharmacy (Recommended)
Call or visit your preferred pharmacy • Provide your name, date of birth, and current pharmacy • They will handle the transfer for you
Option 2: Contact Your Prescriber
• Ask your provider to send a new prescription to your preferred pharmacy Helpful Tips: • Most prescriptions can be transferred easily • Certain controlled substances may require a new prescription • Remaining refills will transfer when eligible • Bring your insurance card to your new pharmacy
